Clive and Julie welcome you to their Edwardian home and bed and breakfast establishment, situated approximately a mile from the city centre, in a quieter part of the city. There is local transport from outside the house, and a park and ride nearby. You can drive to the city centre in less than 10 minutes. If you feel fit, you can walk (it takes Julie approximately 30 minutes). The large breakfast selection includes continental and English options, together with options for vegetarians. Your hosts can recommend places to eat, including some places set right by the river. They can reserve a table for you in advance when you book your room. There are no one night stays available at weekends.

Staff very friendly and with two cats and a puppy it felt like a real home from home, animal lovers this is a real must. Breakfast was excellent not sure if the produce is all locally sourced but definately tasted like it was. Room was a good size for a BandB with a very comfy bed, all in all a great place to stay and I was made to feel very welcome indeed. Extremely friendly staff. The accomodation had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the walk in to Bath from the Hotel which took about 1/2 hr (you can go along the canal or through the lovely Royal Victoria Park). The owners made us feel really welcome. The room was comfortable, well furnished and clean. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at a b+b. Local bus service to town was right outside and regular...overall excellent exp. The owners of the Forres House were extremely kind and helpful. They made us a lovely Full English Breakfast and there were also your other light breakfast options if needed. The rooms were quite clean and comfortable.Welcoming host that couldn't do enough for us. She had good local knowledge of tourist attractions, shops and places to eat. Very frequent public transport from outside the guest house to the city centre. Welcoming staff, very comfortable with good facilities. Everything that i needed was there. Good value for money, would definately recomend a comfortable stay at Forres House.My partner and I absolutely loved Forres House. It was easy to find, close to Bath town centre and had the friendliest host. We had a very enjoyable stay!. I liked everything about Forres House. Guest house was not open until 4pm, so we had to carry our luggage with us all day. onsuite room was a bit small. was about 30mins walk into bath, although there is a bus stop outside with regular buses. This is not a hotel but a private home where the family rent out several rooms. They also have big furry cats, so be aware if one is allergic.To be completely honest the showers were a little weak, but in fairness this was of no real detriment to our overall stay - they got us clean!. If stairs are a problem request a lower level room. tv reception was poor. The shower wasn't great. We arrived within the allowable check in time and at the time I had advised only to wait on the doorstep for 15 minutes in the cold as the staff member had gone out. our bed was and shawer was bid small thats it. The shower was pretty poor and could hear people in other rooms (who could probably hear us too) but get used to it because the bed was so comfy it helped us fall asleep despite the noise!. The room was rather small and the television had a poor reception. Close to A4 road so the front rooms are a little noisy.bathroom was a bit small. Poor TV reception.The noise beyond 10pm at night, ie talking just outside of our room, which was very disturbing. We think it was probably other guests, simply not being considerate. The bathrooom in my room could have been a bit cleaner.Front driveway and gardens.
