Even though we arrived at 10pm the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were also very helpful and amenable. Over all a very pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful, the room was nice and clean, the breakfast included was excellent, overall we had a really nice time at the hotel. Staff was friendly food was great beer was exellent.the hotel room was lovely and warm the bed was dead comfy.will be goin back defo.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and tried very hard to make our stay as pleasant as they could. The welcome was good, staff very friendly, locals also friendly. It was a good experience. The staff were fantastic. They just could not have been more friendly and helpful. Friendly staff Great atmosphere in the bar Closeness to local amenities. located in main street, friendly staff, good breakfast. Good location. Comfortable beds. Clean with prompt service. Bathrooms could do with a very small amount of modernisation but other than that we had no complaints. Not the best views from the room, but it was in the town centre ?. The room was very comfortable but the floor boards creaked so much that we were afraid to move about too much conscious of any guests below. The decor is a little tired and would benefit from a spruce up. Nothing. a little noisy being above a pub, but not too bad, I slept ok. Decor could be better Shower doors open outside,causing water to leak. Nothing. The town turned into the wild west later on Saturday/Sunday. Our room was at the front of the hotel and the street was very noisy - people seemed to congregate directly beneath our room and stay there until the small hours, talking and laughing very loudly. This happened the two nights we were there. So if you go to this hotel, make sure your room is at the back. breakfast was just average. Bed was a little small for two but it was overall ok. Noise late at night/early morning from the place across the street. We booked this hotel at the last minute, we where due to fly out to Marretch however I injured my leg so we had to cancel. The hotel we booked had a bar which was handy for me, on arrival we where informed the rooms had been double booked, we where then sent to a bed and breakfast half a mile away ( Not good)we would not have booked if we had known we where not in the hotel. The b/b was ok and the breakfast fine,so we where not happy bunnies.B.C. The hotel was rated as 3 star which we feel should be reduced. It was rather seedy and much in need of redecoration. It was a very noisy, crowded pub patronised by drinkers........we ate out as the dining room was adjacent to a noisy bar, and not a very nice environment . We stayed here to ride a cycling sportife. We were promised breakfasr @ 7am. The chef appeared @ 7-45 and we ended up with a banana and toast. wont be back very disappointing. If you are riding the Wild Wales next year I wouldnt stay here. The room was simply shocking, the shower head was attached to its mount with electrical tape. The shower worked when it wanted to and not when it was needed. The mattresses were exceedingly tired. The TV was so small you could not watch it in bed. The parking leads directly onto the beer 'garden' where excited children were freely running around knocking into cars.
