The Kadıköy Konak Hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet side street, just a five-minute walk to the Kadıköy ferry port for ferries to various European destinations in Istanbul and the Prince's Islands. There is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel; dozens of restaurants and shops are five to ten minutes away on foot. The hotel staff are friendly, though do lack English language skills. Neighborhood was good for food/drinks. Close to ferry. Two of the staffs were so good especially " Senan " Location is good. Location is good, a little bit noisy street. I have no negative feedback. All was OK. Few tiny details that are not of great importance. There isn't anything not to like. Pretty monotonous breakfast but all were fresh, only instant coffee, no milk. Nothing, for that price there was nothing more I could ask. single beds are too small. better English for the staff. bedrooms could do with redecoration/updating but the staff more than make up for any small issues. the rooms are small. Wi-fi was unavailable, breakfast was very poor. Hotel was pretty worn out, they were doing renovations/installing air conditioners that started every morning at 10 am and lasted till 7 or so. Being on ASian side and having to take ferry to go see anything. So Noisy - no isolation at all from street noise , cars , horns So Old furniture , bathroom so Bad Reception photos is not reflected to Rooms at all. Elevator is so Old , so Slow , so Narrow ( can carry Two persons hardly ) You can say all staffs can not speak English Not recommended at All. bathroom is extremely small, there is not shower cabin, there is not hanger for towels, there is not place for shampoo in the shower.
