double pool villa for two nights as it was vacant, but then as it was

This was without a doubt the best resort we ever visited in all our travelling abroad. The garden in which the villas are situated is awesome and right by the sea. This resort is excelent for people who prefer privacy, yet 20 meters walking and you're on the beach. In your private garden by the villa you would think you're alone in the jungle. I liked the ambience and the architecture of Buddy. The staff were always helpful and friendly.
the complex has a good variety of shops and restaurants although I mostly chose to eat at the nearby New Hut for budget reasons and preferred to try "authentic Thai" food with fellow travelers.
The pools were beautiful although on my second last day whilst lounging at the big pool a snake fell out of a over hanging palm and landed on my chest, however I don't blame the resort for that.

The hotel is on Lamai beach, in the north side. They offer the swimming pool, the chairs for the beach and the towel for free. Note that the facilities at the swimming pool are in good conditions, while the chairs at the seaside are mainly broken. A good advantage is that you can have free, clean towels for the beach/swimming pool daily.
