The staff were friendly and every detail was covered and organized down to realizing the dates we were staying were the same as my birthday so a cake was brought in a few minutes after check in. We spent our first night in a villa with a private plunge pool which was lovely. However on our return 4 nights later we booked a deluxe superior room which was perfect. The pools at the resort are just lovely so we found the deluxe room to be perfect for our needs and better value for money. The location, grounds, staff, restaurant, bar, pools and beach are all wonderful and we would highly recommend Bandara.

On arriving the 'Superior Bungalow' was not superior as in the pics on letsbookhotel.com website, we had particularly wanted a bathtub for the last week of our holiday and there was no tub in the bungalow we were given. Went to reception and they explained we had booked 'Standard' although pics and our booking said 'Superior'. The bungalows are set in gardens that feel like you're in the jungle. A nice small pool too. A nice quiet place to stay. An oasis of tranquility just off the main drag of Fisherman's Village. Nice stay - no complaints. -
