Everything is perfect! The location is good, not far from the Chiang Mai Gate and the market. It is a traditional Thai-style house with beautiful decorations. The room service is very good, clean and cosy room with everything inside. The price is reasonable with the breakfast included, especial Lana Thai food is preserved differently every morning. They even offered me a vip breakfast the day I left, with curry chicken and Tom Yam soup and desert of fruit! What I love best is the host Lek coupl.
kaikki arvostelut » 1/Location-- Baanlek Home stay is only 3-4 mins walking distance from the City centre Chiangmai Gate, which is a quiet place to get rest, and also a very convenient spot to explore the city from. 2/Hospitality-- Mr. Baanlek and his stuff are all very friendly and willing to help. It was very thoughtful of him to turn on the AC before i came back. One of his staff offer to give me a ride when i was leaving. During my two-day stay, it has been like Mr. Baanlek and i are old time friends. 3/Physi. We stayed at Baanlek Home Stay for 3 nights and the place was lovely. The owner, Mr. Lek, was very friendly and kind, it was hard not to smile! The location was convenient, a little walk into the old town but close enough. Breakfast was made every morning and Mr. Lek was happy to help with any questions we had. Other positives include the strong wifi connection and the free transfer to the airport upon departure. Mr Lek, Per and all the staff are fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, the location is good. We liked it so much, we returned without hesitation when we came back to Chiang Mai, after a week in Pai. The hospitality is superb. Hideaway location but nice to be quietly away from the busy city. The owner is very nice and treat the guest so well.If you want the vibrant city life, this will not be the one. p'yen and p'lek are very heart-hot.this is a family hotel,we can choose the breakfast,that is good,we stay here for 4ningt,eat local thailand food as breakfast.near a big motor rent,7-11,qingmai gate. Hospitality is higher of any standard, cosy rooms and inner yard. Really a home stay experience, like the friends I met with. very good host, traditional rooms, nice American breakfast. Good location Kind host. Lanna Style House. Super nice owner - almost overly nice. Good location just a short walk to lots of street food and the old town. The place is not known well by the local taxi, but actually it is really near to the Chiang Mai Gate, no more than five minutes walk. Maybe Lek should make a big size post at the Chiang Mai Gate, :). Just a couple negatives that are really not in anyone's control...there were a lot of mosquitoes that made it into our room which made it hard to sleep and be prepared to hear some nearby roosters crowing in the morning. Otherwise, the property was very nice with very lovely hosts. Nothing. many many mosquitoes,but in consideration of the season and the weather of qingmai ,that is ok.p'lek gave us local medicine ,it is better if there have screen window. Bathroom, toilet, shower all combined, but what do you expect for $30AUS per night. The bedroom is a little small for two. Everything is perfect. There was no safe in the room. It was a small place in a really quiet residential area, so no other travellers to meet and chat to. 950B was quite pricy but breakfast would definitely make up for it. A few minutes walking to the old city. Only when someone walk in second floor in the Night, you will face a little bit bed-quake... No windows. Nope. a little hard to find using the map. A bit noisy - slamming doors and traffic noise - and too expensive for what it is. Was 950b, probably should be more like 700b. Tuk tuk drivers have a tough time finding the place; be prepared to help them. Sheets were dirty when we checked in but fine once they replaced them. Otherwise it was reasonably clean.
