Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps. The Männlichen Cable Car and the village centre are only a short walk away. All rooms at the Berghaus are equipped with cable TV. Some rooms also have a minibar and a balcony. The restaurant serves a variety of local fish specialties from the surrounding lakes. Local meat specialties and vegetarian dishes are also served. Packed lunches are available on request. During fair weather, guests can relax on the sunny terrace. A lounge with an open fireplace and a library invite to relax after a day on the slopes.

Owner of the hotel is very nice, and has a wonderful girl named Maria and friendly, beautiful and offer a very wonderful service and a joke, the most beautiful days of my life were in the hotel, and I will come back to visit the village and I will dwell in the hotel. Owner / family run hotel as family business Daughter Martina never too busy to help with questions we had Or to pick us up from wengen train station with no advance notice Only down side is lack of free wi fi Hotel berghaus is Highly recommended.

I have visited them all and stayed in most. Very friendly staff, with a very welcoming attitude. They couldn't not have been more helpful. Make you feel at home. Excellent location for the main cable car station and the shops & bars etc in Wengen. Fantastic views from Balconies of south-facing rooms. Best location in Wengen, for staggeringly beautiful views of the Jungrfrau,and east access to village. Attentive staff. Lunch on the terrace a delight. The owners of the Hotel are very nice person and do everything to make their guest very comfortable Location is beautiful and the price are affordable. we tried also the restaurant and food was nice. Please note that Wengen is a car-free village. You can reach Wengen only by train. Park your car at Lauterbrunnen Station and take the train to Wengen. The train ride to Wengen takes approximately 15 minutes. Please note that the guest house offers transfer from Wengen train station at a surcharge. Guests are kindly requested to inform the guest house in advance if they wish to be picked up. A pick up after 19:00 is not possible. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. If you expect to arrive after 21:00, please contact the property in advance. Check-in after 22:45 is not possible (latest train at 22:30). Please inform the property about the exact number of guests in advance. If you arrive with more guests than stated in your booking confirmation, there will be a surcharge. Please note that single currency credit cards (UnionPay logo only) are not accepted for reservations.
