  Hotel Dischma is a very nice, reasonably priced base for exploring Lugano. An excellent, very extensive breakfast is included in the price. The breakfast staff are very friendly and attentive and explain all the choices The location is great, even though it isn't in the centre of Lugano. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. From food choices, quality and variety, these staff planned and worked with their hearts. They made us want to go back and stay at Dischma next time.   We regularly travel to Italy by car and so need a place to overnight in Switzerland. This is the best place we've stayed - you really can't fault it. It's close to the motorway,Gottard tunnel and so easy to find, but quiet. Plenty of parking, good size clean, comfortable rooms, good food at reasonable prices, very pleasant lounge and bar areas. Have been to a few 3 star's in Italy and this is definately one of the best, stunning view of lake and mountains, obviously rooms have been renovated, comfortable bed, descent sized bathroom, nice restaurant for dinner, good Italian buffet breakfast.   The place was fantastic! There was a great atmosphere, it was very clean and the staff were helpful. It was also a short walk to the city centre or you could take a bus that was 50m from the hostel. - The staffs were really nice, friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms aren't available in the rooms, but the multiple shared bathrooms and separate shower rooms are very nice and were recently remodeled so this wasn't a problem for us. - Clean, very friendly lady at the reception, tasty breakfast (excelle... mitä ihmiset sanovat » nt home-made jams). It was not busy, so we could use a private bathroom. The kitchen right next door is a nice touch. We could make a cup of tea any time we wanted.
