  Very comfortable apartment room, great for travelling with young children. Also great location close to everything. - Staff was pretty kind and helpful. Hotel itself has very good (central)location, parking facility under the hotel was a big advantage atarrival and departure, but also if you go there by car. Kitchenette waswell equipped.

  Me and my wife really enjoyed staing in your hotel. The rooms are clean, furniture new. The breakfast and the restaurant were very good. And, of course, very professional and nice staff. Thank you! - The free travel card worked wonderfully. Restaurant was good. Parking garage very secure. Friendly, helpful staff.

  Everything was absolute perfect! The staff, room, everything Top notch! The Asian Restaurant impressed me with the best Duck I've ever eaten, and I had serious problems to finish my meal. I didn't want it to end.   This was my second stay to race my fourth ITU/Powerman World Duathlon Championship. Last time the airlines lost my luggage for 5 days. This time my back pack was stolen outside Barcelona station en route to Zofingen. The hotel staff were wonderful, helping me recover from my problems. The fabulous breakfasts were a great start to each day. The - My wife and I wanted to visit the Basel Watch & Jewelry Fair. All hotels in Basel were booked solid so we scouted for somewhere in the region. In the event Hotel Engel was the perfect choice: only forty minutes from the fair; clean; quiet; big rooms; excellent breakfast; and, as a bonus, in the heart of a lovely little preserved medieaval town.
