The communication with the hotel staff was excellent. We received information about sightseeing the town and it's major points of interest as professionally as a tour guide. The price of the room was more than decent.Staff was very helpful and restaurant food was reasonably priced and good quality.It was clean and staff friendly and helpful.Convenient location just off main highway. really friendly staff. Explain that this hotel is a 1970's upgrade style hotel. Facilities are okay, but definately not up to 21st century specs.The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had one excellent eveningmeal at the restaurant. We hope to return next year/. convenience, price, simple but very good, clean, friendly and perfectly acceptable.Location, next to a bus stop. Easy access to town. It was also noisy at night so not great for sleeping.uncomfortable bed. Traffic noise, not too bad at a time when windows can be closed, but would be different in summer. But then I have stayed in much more expensive hotels in Lucerne and the traffic noise was no better. Even in the most expensive hotels there.Noisy location on busy main road (all night). A bit far from town centre (tram necessary from train station but you could walk from other end of old town) but we booked late for a Saturday night and there wasn't a lot available. Expensive but probably comparable for Switzerland.Bathroom rather small and not well lit.bathroom ceiling on the roof floor is too down. Too much Street noise, four beds spread too apart. The Shower (curtain and shower head). There was no variety for breakfast-only bread and jam.Lack of staff around at reception,had to walk around and call out for someone all the time Wi Fi did not work. I's a somehwta noisy building .The traffic noise from outside.bed was a bit poor, not enough blankets and all the bedding and room smelt like cigarette smoke.the mattress style. Unwanted disturbances sometimes.The rooms are tired and need updating as they have been the same for at least the last five years in my experience. However, they are clean and perfect for a short stay. I often use this hotel for one night travel stop-overs.Room a bit too small and there is no elevator. breakfast was poor and we stayed 9on the third floor and the hotel didnot have an elevator.Room was very basic, small and had old furniture/bedding etc. Little ventilation. Breakfast was very basic - just bread and a croisant. Parking was difficult. Hotel next to main road.Smoke through htel dark and difficult to arrive by car. Bath room.
