Located right in the heart of Interlaken, these rooms can be found on the 5th floor of the traditional Hotel Interlaken. The Congress Centre and the Eastern Train Station are a 5-minute walk away. You can choose from en-suite rooms and rooms with shared bathroom facilities. All rooms are non-smoking and some have a shared shower and toilet. All rooms are equipped with an electric kettle, a washbasin and a hairdryer. A PC and free internet are available in the hallway. The Taverne restaurant on the ground floor serves Swiss and international cuisine and is open from Tuesday to Saturday. The Kloster Lounge & Bar is open from Thursday to Saturday. A hot and cold buffet breakfast can be enjoyed every morning. A limited number of parking spaces are available free of charge on site.

I can't fault this place. My room on the 5th floor was the best 'shared bathroom' private room that I've ever had. It was bright, spotless, and with all the trimmings that you usually find in a 5-star hotel including sumptuous down bedding. The shared bathrooms are also spotlessly clean and the shower excellent. The breakfast, taken in the main hotel dining room, is the supperb hot and cold type buffet that you get in all good hotels. And if you're on a budget for evening meals, you can get an .
kaikki arvostelut » - Approximately 5 mins walking distant to the Ost Interlaken train station. - We stayed in this hotel because of the Jungfrau expedition. - We stayed in 5 different hotels in different towns in Switzerland during our 2 weeks trip, Hotel Interlaken served the BEST spread of buffet breakfast. We enjoyed it very much. Valued for money. - The staff are kind enought to store our luggages during our final day stay as we visited other tourist attraction. - Free PC usage that comes with Internet connec. The hotel was on the 5th floor the a 4-star hotel, so, the service and rooms are quite nice. You can enjoy 4-star service and environment at 2-star price, which was so great! The buffet breakfast was very international and the best among my whole trip. There was also large and nice public area where you can talk, read or wait. A kettle was available in the room to provide hot water, making tea or coffee. And my room had a nice view of a church and a garden. Great hotel!. The breakfast was excellent, the fruit salad was made fresh, just like my mum makes. -We stayed on the 5th floor which are the budget rooms the Hotel Interlaken offers. The elevator goes to the 4th floor and you had to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs, that did not worry us as it is mentioned in the website and we knew what to expect. -Friendly and accommodating staff. -Comfortable and clean bedding. -Reasonable priced room for an expensive city. Very good value for money, considering how well the room is furnished and with a sumptuous buffet breakfast provided every morning as well. The location is superb, only 5mins walk away from Interlaken OST train station. There is also a very nice Garden of Friendship located in front of the hotel which contributes to the aestheticism of the hotel. The location was convenient, the staff was nice and very helpful. We felt comfortable and at ease. We had a car, the parking was very convenient. We wanted to see the surrounding mountains and this was made very easy with the train being within a 5 minute walk. The receptionist is very helpful in giving tourist information and suggestion as well as dealing with late check-in and early check-out. The Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. The public toilet and shower room on 5th floor is quite clean. The staff there are very friendly and offered me a lot of useful information on travelling around. The room is clean and comfortable, it's quite near Intalaken OST, besides, the price is good considering the facilitations and service provided. This hotel combines the luxury of a good hotel with the budget price. Rooms extremely clean and modern! Shared bathrooms clean! Breakfast was excellent. Since we waited until less than 30 days from our staying there, we had to stay on the 5th floor. The accommodations were nice but the elevator service only went to the 4th floor. The room on the 5th floor was quite small with very very poor wifi connection. The Elevator only reaches at 4th floor, you need to pull your own luggage to your room by walking upstairs. Outside the room only window there is a shared balcony, which means you cannot leave the window open when you are getting asleep at night for safety reason, it would your room suffocated at night. No air-con, but still ok to stay in at this season without it. The room is a little small for me. No hairdryer provided in the room and you have to request and get it yourself at the front desk. No refill of coffee and tea in the room if you stay for more than one night. no faults!. The stairs from the 4th to the 5th was kind of awkward. All lights in the hallway and staircase were on motion sensors. It's green per se, but it's kind scary to be on the attic when lights in the hall don't turn on promptly. We had to lift our luggage from 4th floor to 5h floor as their is no lift from 4th to 5th. There were 2 common bathroom for 7 rooms but if you are ok for going out of the room and use bathroom, it will work for you. Unfortunately room not air conditioned and weather was unusually warm but a very large fan in the room was most welcome. remote control and Television were old and small. Shared bathroom with the entire floor was a bit of a nuisance. the deds are too soft. No wi-fi in the hotel. Elevator does not go up to 5th floor. you have to take the narrow stairs to reach your room. no air condition. The pillows were too soft, the shared bathroom and toilets with the opposite sex, the room was too hot, noisy. No lift to 5th floor and the room is so smelly!! I have to open the windows all the time. No elevator to fith floor. A lot.
