Located just a 6-minute walk from the ski lift, Aparthotel Eiger offers spacious apartments with private balcony or terrace. It features a wellness centre and several restaurants and bars. All apartments at Eiger Aparthotel come with a well equipped kitchen and a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. Complimentary cake and coffee are provided in the afternoons and the final cleaning fee is included in the rate. A daily cleaning service can be organised on request and for an extra charge. Bed linen and towels are provided. Free WiFi is available in public areas and wired internet access is provided in the apartments and studios. On request, a WiFi box can be added to the unit. Guests can enjoy free access to the vast Selfness spa area, which includes a fitness centre, several saunas and a stylish lounge. Studio was wonderful, loved the balcony and view Price was great Yoga, Pilates and jazzier use classes and gym Location was in a town with lots of stores and restaurants Loved the coffee/tea and cake hour Staff was wonderful, greeting us with a glass of wine. - We found the staff to be excellent; friendly, professional and organised. - Grindelwald and the hotel's location were excellent - The idea of an apartment for famillies with young children is excellent, it allowed us to have a base from which to venture.
kaikki arvostelut » We had a lovely 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment. Nice living area and well equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator. Great views out every window; gardens everywhere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Two nice restaurants on premises. Centrally located. Great location, cheap parking, the staff was very friendly and helpful, Every Wednesday in the summer there is a muic festival in the street. The best band was right in front of our hotel. one of the best hotels in Grindelwald , only two hours drive from zurich airport .. great location for wintersports .. friendly staff & outstanding food. Extremely friendly staff, good location, and yummy, huge breakfast buffet. We had an apartment in the Guesthouse 2 and it was very spacious and modern. The "selfness" area was nice if you wanted to be inside. The studio was clean and large with a great balcony. The staff was beyond helpful. Spacious clean apartment. Well equipped and comfortable. First class friendly hotel. Everything!. I made reservation to one day too early but hotel contacted me day after reservation to clarify and no issues changing to correct date! Two-room apartment was good space for three of us. I liked the appartment space and view. and offer free washing machine and driyer all the day for every one. Great staff, excellent facilities, great location. The staff was helpful but there was a communication issue. The Wednesday street show organized by the hotel was very entertaining. nothing. That I couldn't stay longer. We had the impression that it would be more of a chalet than a 1970s concrete hotel. Absolutely nothing. one way street down windy hill from parking lot to main street. can't think of anything really!. The breakfast buffet was misleading. It seamed like it was included based on the wording in the "ABC" guide, but it was chf 22 per person, which is a lot for anyone on a budget. It should be stated that you'll be charged. Nothing really. Would go back. The apartment old decoration and low lights. The overall cleaning and comfort. Also there was a work happening next to the hotel that really broke the mountain ambient (however is not their fault). Salty food. Can not used the Union Pay Credit Card booking is trouble me too much!. Hotel description at letsbookhotel.com says there is wifi and complimentary coffee and cake in room. The wifi had no signal in any part of apartment and coffee&cake was aerved only 2h restricted period in hotel's cafe/bar. We arrived 15min pass that time. The staff could only apologize and asked me to understand the policy since "next people are preparing for dinner and no sense to keep coffee available all evening" (!??). I dislike the entrance of the hotel. and its too difficult to push our luggage to the hotel, because the road not same level of hotel, the hotel location is very up, which is too hard. (I really hate it. Pillows in the room were terrible. not better when we asked for addtional pillows. Rooms were very basic. Have observed if we book through bookings.com they allot least preferred rooms.we booked apartments and we were alloted in two different buildings. There was wrong info provided whilst doing the reservation wherein there was an understanding that there were 2 baths provided in a 3 bed. Also there are no lifts, phones in the rooms & daily housekeeping in the hotel which makes it very difficult especially if you are travelling with the family. staff.
