Situated on the Axalp, 1500 metres above Lake Brienz, Chemihüttli enjoys a quiet location in the small but charming Axalp ski area. Traditionally decorated rooms with balconies invite to relax. Guests can enjoy regional delicacies at the restaurant and fine drinks at the bar. The Chemihüttli rents ski equipment and sells ski passes. After a day on the slopes, guests can store their equipment in the ski storage room and relax in the sauna. A children’s playground can be found on site. During summer guests can explore the areas’ hiking trails. Lake Brienz is only 2 km away and many water sports facilities are offered there. The city Brienz and its train station can be reached within a 10 km drive from the hotel. Free access to Wi-Fi is offered in the lobby. Free public parking is offered on site.

Staff was excellent. Made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, until we got in the car to leave. Rooms are very nice. Food was great. Hiking opportunities are virtually unlimited - as beautiful an area as one can imagine. this is the second time for me to stay at this very beautifull hotel with excellent staff personel. if i go back to interlaken, i will surly reserve in this hotel really,, I stayed 4 relaxing days inside this area.
