  We loved the hotel and it's very helpful, friendly staff!! The hotel was spotlessly clean (a fetish of mine!) and sits on a hillside with an incredible view of the sea. Although we didn't use the pool, it was very inviting with an infinity edge and that same wonderful sea view.   L'Aixart is a gem of a place that is hard to explain. There are only 4 rooms and they are a little more hostel like than hotel like. Outside of the rooms, this is a great property that has an awesome lounge in a great area of Costa Brava. Since it was low season we had the hotel to ourselves for 2 nights and on the third night another couple arrived. George - The hospitality was fantastic. I drove in late, and the owner of the hostel offered to make me dinner from the kitchen, even though the restaurant was almost closed. The menu is fantastic. All the dishes were excellently prepared, making this a hotel that you don't need to wander far from. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with a big shared deck in front (there are only 4 rooms total, so it's still very peaceful and mellow). My room had a gorgeous view of the ocean as well. I hiked the
