  Pension Alameda is family owned. The whole family is very willing to help. Some have limited English. The room is clean. As other have commented it is a bit noisy. But then you are based at the square which is full of life in the weekends. It didn't disturb me, but I imagine it might be a but noisier in the high season. Good value for money.   Very good localization. The hostel is situated in the old town, close to main tourists attractions and also closed to one of the main streets of the city. For this money you can not get it better. While the room is quite small, it met our needs as we spent little time in the Pension and when - The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful (older reviews that say the opposite are now completely out of date and incorrrect because there is now a new manager). The location is in a fascinating part of old Seville. The public areas were very pretty: blue tile. Everything was clean. At 18 euros a night for a single, the place was a terrific bargain.
