Old hotel in great location. GPS brought us right to the hotel, even though partially this is in a pedestrian zone with permitted access for hotel guests. The closer parking with valet service was full, so the receptionist directed us to another parking where they have discounted rates. Rather convoluted way to get there, but via GPS we managed to locate the parking. Friendly reception, they have a cute restaurant in the court of the building, which can be seen from the upper interior passage w.

Jose on front reception very friendly to us non spanish speaking tourists.Comfortable,clean, romantic colors, close to square and all the action, church and a small walk to Alcazar.. So impressed my partner proposed to me at the Alcazar.. Thankyou for your beautiful accommodation.. Excellent, quiet location behind a major church and less than 10 minutes to the aquaduct or the Alcazar. Decent resaurant for breakfast and dinner, with plenty of other options nearby. Helpful front desk. Goog- size room. Free Wi-Fi in rooms. Taxi to the ave train station about 10 Euros. Has the only talking elevator we have encountered. Room had a fridge and a lovely view of the city. The hotel staff answered our many questions. Room had lovely big windows with light curtains so we could leave them open and enjoy the breeze. A great location. Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable & not too expensive. We ate dinner at the Hidalgo restaurant (the hotel's restsurant) and it was excellent but a bit overpriced. Loved the french windows looking onto the street. also liked the court yard in the middle of the hotel. great location riht in the middle. had a lovely stay. Great Location Basic but perfectly functional room The easy access to shops and food halfway between the aqueduct and the palace. Location was central to the 3 main tourist attractions. Bed was comfortable and the bathrooms quite nice..except no tub :-(. Hotel is in a good location of the city. But maybe it is Saturday, it is quite expensive. Parking is an issue...but all hotels in the old city have the same problem. The paid parking is far and costs 12€ per 24hrs...the valet parking is 17€ per 24hrs. We lucked out because we found free parking just outside the walls of the old city...(actually closer than the 12€ parking offered by the hotel) :-). Initially I was offered a room at the back that was next to the air conditioning units. I would not have been happy if I had to stay in this room. However after i asked for another room I was given a lovely room at the front of the hotel. Room was cold. Had to snuggle into blanket Room had no view at all. No attempt by hotel to get us to stay for any meal or breakfast. Finding it required help from the friendly locals..wish the street signs were more visible. Expensive on Saturday. Room is a bit small. Parking is a serious issue. At the weekend it's free if you find a space !! Or the car parks are a distance and the cobbled road system is an adventure, but if your up for it it's worth it. Really hard to find by car, even with the description sent by the hotel - a map would help. None. It was great. We had a meal in the dining room that was the worst meal we had in our month of travels. The dining room was attractive, but the food fell short of our expectations. City center parking can be a problem......... work this out in advance w/ the hotel. Poky room which I was able to change for a better room after one night. nothing!. The bed was a little hard. Resteraunt and the cold breakfast. Breakfast. Could not stay longer. Expensive to park the car. Part of hotel was original, but our room was in modern, characterless section. Odd that we couldn't order a drink here mid-afternoon.
