  Very nice country setting overlooking the old town of Santillana Del Mar, complete with a field of ponies. Very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast and dinner were very good. This hotel was very conveniently located for visiting the prehistoric caves of Cantabria. - The location is excellent - near enough to walk in to Santillana, with an exce... mitä ihmiset sanovat » llent view, but far enough away to be peaceful. No problems with parking or access. Made a great overnight stop before we got the ferry from Santander.

  This lovely old hotel is in a perfect location at the heart of this beautiful medieval village. We had a warm welcome from the owner, who allowed us to park our motorcycles in the garden. The bedroom was spacious with a large modern bathroom. Staying here makes you realise why you go travelling. A truly wonderful experience. - Wonderful location in the pedestrian area of the old town. Fantastic big cool (in 40 deg. celcius plus!) and welcoming lobby. Loved the up and down levels that so demonstrated the age of the building. Our room had a lovely outlook onto the street but was quiet during the night.
