Really beautiful and comfortable palace with the surrounding countryside providing the perfect setting. Only 30mins drive to San Sebastián. 45 mins to Bilboa. Everything was just great. Not hard to find as we put the town location into the Gps and there were signs from the town intersection to the hotel. Hotel also provided us with plenty of info

Beautifully appointed and decorated hotel. Fabulous large bedroom. Staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.
Restaurant is outstanding. The chef - a charming guy - likes to meet his guests and talk about his dishes and the way he prepares them. The "black" fillet steak is brilliant!!
All highly recommended.

The hotel was ideally located for us as it was relatively easy arriving and leaving by car and was a nice walk ( about 20 mins) to the old town, beach and other sites. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

The local bus which stops very near to the hotel -
Modern comfortable rooms including wi-fi. Lovely crisp sheets and white, white towels. Modern bathroom. Quiet at night.
Somehow, instead of the dinner we booked we ended up at a dinner + local girls belly dancing (???). All great fun as these Spanish evenings usually are but dinner wasn't served until 10.30 and it was a tad bit late after 6 hours on the road.
Great staff, nothing too much trouble
