  We just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed by how well it lived up to its reputation. The kids' favorite part was the pool and the mini-zoo, my favorite part was the good-quality beds, and my husband liked the restaurant. One special touch was that each apartment had its own drying rack, so we could hang our bathing suits and towels out to dry. The hotel i - We stayed for 10 nights, the hotel is on the edge of town , but everywhere is within easy reach. The Patron and his team were all very friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcome and looked well looked after. A Guarda has the feel of old Spain, lots of friendly polite people, fresh local food and produce, and you feel welcome where ever you go. We stayed during the fiesta's and WOW the amount of people was amazing, but such a friendly atmosphere !

  Hotel's place was very good, right in the centre, very near to the historic places. We walked almost everywhere, although we had rented a car. The room was perfectly clean.The price we payed was reasonable.   This was our first trip to Yigo after many trips to other areas of Spain. We only spent 1 night here which could have been more. The staff and owners are very attentive and helpful. They recommended a restaurant down the way for eating fish and seafood which was very local and had the best seafood ever! I recomended this hotel to anyone. A 4 star hotel at 3 star prices.
