  The staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and they went to great lengths to make sure our stay was perfect. The location in the old town is great for exploring and the building beautifully designed and furnished.   I was extremely pleased with the Apartamentos Ran de Mar. I paid a low price and di not expect much for my money. However, I was suprised at the accommodation. It is clean and had the necessities for a self catering break. It is not luxury but that is reflected in the price. If you are happy for a base that is clean, close to the beach and shop... mitä ihmiset sanovat » s, somewhere to put your head, have a shower and keep drink in the fridge, then this is it. - Location, receptionists, price. The hotel is on the Paguera boulevard and has lots of shops near. It even has an internal corridor to get straight to the beach. We took the half pension based on a comment on this website and it was the best decision. The food was good and you always have at least 3 options of meat, salads, etc. It's also near beautiful Cala Fornells which I recommend to visit. Time of the year: end of June 2013.

  The location was beautiful, we were 7 of people and we got the great time here! We had a very nice sea view from both apartements, Tomeu is very friendly, helpful and with a great sense of humour. Sand beaches are about 5 minutes of walk on the one side, around 15 minutes on the other side.   Although the accommodation was fairly basic, it was very clean and reasonably well equipped. The host, Frank was exceptionally helpful and ready to oblige with anything extra which may be required. The pool and grounds of the hotel were well attended to and pre-recession the hotel probably had far more facilities. We would visit Porto Petro again, but in accommodation around the marina. - We really enjoyed being in the town of Puerto Petro; we are not big-city people at all, and it was lovely to be in a small town. Cal d"Or is just minutes away, where you can find many more shops and larger supermarkets. Our apartment was perfect, with a wonderful view of the port. Frank is very helpful and friendly. We would most definitely return!

  Wonderful apartment! Very bright, lot of space, huge balcon with sunbeds and a table for outdoor dinner. We could see the sea from it. The forniture is very pleasant with a bit of ethnic, there was also a DVD reader and a small library. The owner is very kind and available.
