  the location of the hotel is lovely, straight across the road (not a busy road) to the beach and sea. Although the rooms weren't large they were clean and tidy, we would pick the sea view every-time, the staff are all friendly and helpfull, and meals are buffet style with plenty of choice. - The food was delicious with plenty of choice at breakfa... mitä ihmiset sanovat » st and dinner. Great view of the beach which was directly opposite hotel. Lovely seating areas outside the hotel. Food could be eaten outside.

  Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... mitä ihmiset sanovat » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. The hotel itself is a traditional Mallorcan house, developed such that it retains its character, while also being smart and modern. Excellent breakfast, and so good to be able to eat outside, if pre
