Each bright, air-conditioned room includes a bathroom and a flat-screen TV with international channels. The Ibis Budget Oviedo features simple, modern design with lots of natural light. A daily continental breakfast is served in the spacious dining room. Wi-Fi is available for an extra charge. The historic centre of Oviedo, including San Salvador Cathedral, is 1 km away. The Train Station is 900 metres from the hotel. There is private parking, as well as plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets. Reception is open 24 hours a day. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring Asturias and the north of Spain. Regular buses connect the city to Gijón, Santander and Bilbao. It is close to the Calatrava Congress Centre and Asturias Hospital.

Staff were amazing, very helpful and so kind and friendly. Especially the lovely lady who checked me in, went through the town map with me and gave me lots of advice. She also checked me out of the hotel with a free coffee, So lovely. Hotel was quiet and my room had a great view of the mountains. Helpful staff, nice breakfast, very inexpensive, and just a short cheap taxi ride from the city center which makes the budget side of things still work despite the hotel not being entirely central. Cheap parking downstairs underground. Met all my needs!!!.
kaikki arvostelut » We arrived with 2 rented bikes that had to be send back to Portugal, with almost non existing instructions from the bike rental company. The hotel employees were very flexible and helped us to figure out how to send the bikes back. Nice clean fresh room- simple and basic conveniences- quiet and in good location- friendly and very helpful reception staff. If you are looking for something to just sleep while travelling this is your place, as it is very close to the bus station. Its a fantastic price, we paid less then we'd booked for... Definitely great for people on a low budget. Easy to find, loads of parking & convenient for night-life. Staff was extremely friendly. Good value for money. Staff, Breakfast, cleanliness. Location & price. Really good value. A nice, clean room is given for a low price. Compared to other hotels in Oviedo this is a good, modern hotel: Ikea style with no nonsense furniture. Ibis Budget hotels are exactly what they say - this one was clean, good value for money and only 10 minutes walk from city centre. A good room; clean. Ikea style. Clean and efficient service. Good price. Nothing really. There was no handle on the bathroom door, no towel to put on the floor near the shower... Its a budget hotel but these little things would have made a big difference. Some of the staff was wonderful, others less so. The hotel claims to have airconditioning, but in our case the airconditioning did not cool the room at all. The only thing it did was circulating hot air. I waited more than 10 minutes at the checkin. The receptionist insisted on explaining the "History of Asturias" to all customers ("Be nice and sell"). Eventually the manager stepped in and noticed my sweat. Extra services, like canned drinks, breakfast, Internet and delivered food are quite expensive. The location is at 30-40 minutes walking from the center of this historic city. Taking all of this into account, I would return though. The hotel is far away from anything. The busstation is at 15 minutes walk. City center: 40 minutes. You can order food to your room but this will cost you 100 Euros for two. It comes from a restaurant nearby. Breakfast is not 3 Euros 90 but 4 Euros 50 or 7 Euros 50. So: use the services offerfed at the (large) busstation. Or: pay through the nose. Out of town. Room a bit like staying in a caravan or on a ship. Far from city center. Very uncomfortable rooms. We arrived at the hotel with reservation, we paid, we pass the night and we left in the next day. The day after, I received an email notifying me that the reservation was cancelled and a fine would be debilitated in my credit card. So until now I paid twice for one night in this hotel.I'm still waiting for the resolution of the problem.
