  The hotel has a very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble (a special thank-you to Franklin). Located just out of town on a hillside. Authentic Mediterranean experience, with the sound of cicadas (I also saw a few geckos clinging to the walls in the evening). I timed the - downhill - walk from the hotel to the beach at 45 minutes, but I'm a slow walker. By car it's obviously much quicker, - The hotel is lovely. The staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The verandah to the lovely lounge/bar compliments the ambiance. The rooms are lovely with private garden/patios. A joy to stay there, and would love to return when the other facilities have been completed.

  We got a great deal -The Staff were very friendly and very helpful.. The Hotel is not a 5 star rating but it is a very good 4 star ... i tried to book again for May but the prices had shot through the off..but i could not say anything negitive about the hotel - On arrival we were upgraded to junior suite.   Kristin and Diego were fantastic and VERY cool hosts. The location was right on point very near to the Old Town and main roads but we felt like we could be anywhere in the world. It was so peaceful and secluded thanks to all the wonderful vegetation which grows all around the villa and makes it almost feel like a secret oasis. The homemade breakfast wa - We loved everything about the Jardines De La Reina--Kirsten and Diego have created a magical place! There are a number of good restaurants nearby. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. An important factor for me was that Kirsten is extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease (which I have),
