This comfortable and pleasant hotel is set by the banks of the River Arlanza, 1 km from the centre of Lerma. It offers a traditional restaurant and comfortable, heated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Rooms at Hotel Alisa are spacious and smart, and all include satellite TV, a telephone and a private bathroom with bath tub. Some rooms also feature a terrace. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered and the Restaurant features a wood oven and traditional regional cuisine served with local wines. The cafeteria offers snacks and function rooms are available for hire. The Alisa offers tourist information and is 30 minutes’ drive from the charming San Pedro de Arlanza Monastery. You can drive to Burgos in around 30 minutes. The hotel has private parking for an extra charge and is 90 minutes’ drive from Valladolid.

It's very dog-friendly, we stay there twice a year with our dog. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the manager, Oscar, is marvellous. Eating facilities are suitably varied and the bar works for a quick snack breakfast. Lerma is a beautiful town, it's castle, church and arched streets in particular. This is ideal as a stopover from the ferry if driving further south but Lerma deserves a longer stay than a mere overnighter.

A few minutes drive from the motorway. Brilliant parking facilities. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Choice of two restaurants because the bar area is extensive and serves meals too. Good, local produce on the menus. Location, ideally placed for long southern Spain-France journeys and just off the motorway. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, all very clean. Never tried restaurant, always bar and outside terrace as we have a large dog. Perfect for dog owners - also lovely walk along the river just across the road. Polite and friendly staff Relaxed atmosphere throughout the Hotel. Within short walking distance of the old town quarter Pet friendly. Generally a nice place to stay being convenient for onward travel to the Ferry port of Santander or Bilbao. Secure car parking. Supberb service and extremely lovely and helpful staff especially at breakfast, nothing too much trouble and everything replenished quickly. Dog friendly really important to us and no problems at all. Rooms and bathrooms clean and well decorated. Beautiful traditional Spanish design nicely furnished with comfort and style. Friendly staff, good restaurant, dog friendly. Large comfortable room and bathroom with terrace, excellent value, easy walk into the historic town. We have stayed here before on our drive down to southern Spain from England. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and spacious and the added benefit of Wi-Fi is great for keeping in touch. it was just naturally lovely. Not very glamourous but comfortable beds, good pillows, lovely bathroom with great water pressure, friendly bar and reception staff, and very dog friendly. It was delightful. comfortable and friendly almost perfect location both close to main highway yet within a short walking distance to the picturesque town of Lerma this will be on my list to use again in the future. Location was excellent close to motorway and short walk from the town. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Nice walk along the river for the dog. Have just booked to stay again. We had 2 dogs which were well accepted, we were allowed into the cafeteria with them so we could have an evening meal & breakfast. Good dog walking. Good car parking. Good friendly hotel in anideal location directly off the motorway yet within 5mins walking distance of Lerma. Good riverside walks for dog owners across the road. We have stayed here many times with our dog on the way to and from Santander. The rooms are spacious and clean and there are some lovely walks along the river. The bar staff were friendly and the menu very reasonable. We Alawys stay here brilliant staff food good, if you want Bacon & Egg for breakfast just ask nothing no trouble. The hotel has a look of a parador inside. Restaurant one side and tapas bar on the other. Not a great selection available but was adequate for one night stop off after coming off ferry. Good hotel for when you are driving northern eu to the south of Spain; on the highway, easy to find. Very friendly staff, dogs allowed, free wifi and clean rooms. Easy access to motorway system, as we stay there while travelling from South to North Spain. Also location in an historic town. a comfortable clean hotel.good continental breakfast. ideal for a over night stop from santander to madrid and further south. A good location with friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking. The general ambience of tithe place was very good. Location near mororway. Not much. i wouldn't use this hotel again.The bedroom was quite big but the bathroom was inadequate. There was no where to put your things, no hairdryer, a shower over the bath that didn't move up or down. We had to ask for the menu del dia as the waiter was unwilling to show us it. My husband enjoyed his food but i didn't. The breakfast which was reasonable, and carparking were very overpriced making it an expensive overnight stay, no view just roof tops but didn't really matter as we were tha. Convenient location whilst travelling to Bilbao. the cafe. Nothing, really!. No issues whatsoever. Wasn't really a dislike but would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room. short bath as I have long legs!. Nothing worth mentioning. Gets a bit busy when the coaches arrive. Food could have been a little better. The food is very basic. No access to the secure garage although the door did appear to work when we arrived but not when we went to put the car in. The breakfast was poor bread and croissants not fresh .that was the only disappointment. Location was fantastic. A bit dated -some bathroom fixtures needed replacing. No lounge area to relax in after meal. Nothing. Bed and pillow "semi-duros".... the restaurant was absolutely disgusting. in future we would walk into the town of lerma to eat there. No aircon. no air con in the rooms. breakfast not so good. Sheets on bed upside down, hair in sink and bed was tired and in need of replacing. Bath with over shower was quite small but ok for a shower and bath for child. Shower head needed de gunking. The food in the attached (and owned by the hotel) restaurant is some of the worst we have ever had anywhere in the world. It should be closed down as an immediate health risk; everything but the bread was off and some things even moldy. Don't eat there, ever! Bring your own or eat a tapas uncomfortably bright lit bar which is also attached to the hotel. If they close the restaurant, the hotel would have gotten quite a good score. The "quiet room" we requested was not particularly quiet. no english televison. No airconditioning or fans. The fact that the heating went off, when we arrived and didn't come on again, my husband had to ask if they had forgotten,they had we were so cold. Staff indifferent and food disappointing. Walls very thin, therefor a lot of noise from adjoining rooms. The bartender had absolutely no people skills. Terrible attitude. The room stank of cigarettes. The pillow especially smelt of cigarettes. Not pleasant. No English TV. slow check in very tired décor chipped bath/shower thin frayed towels wafer thin toilet paper no comparison with tudanca aranda de Duero.
