  Very secure, friendly and helpful staff, very clean. We chose San Blas because of its location near Atocha station. Within easy reach of all main attractions. We would stay here again. I think people need to remind themselves how much they pay before writing reviews. If you want four star then you will pay a lot more. The staff is very friendly and helful and rooms look like normal hotel rooms. The accomadations were really great in terms of price/quality. The location is the best you can have, being 5 minutes way from Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Gran Via, etc. Definetly the place to stay whenever we go to madrid.

  It was an excellent location, near the metro and Plaza Mayor. The staff were all very helpful and parking was facilissimo. They were extremely accommodating, providing driving directions in Madrid and other advice. - The breakfast (which was not included) was delicious and plentiful.

Also, the subway station is just nearby, i.e. within 3 min. walk down the same street. Very efficient heating system. Excellent receptionist's, room and breakfast service. Rich buffet breakfast with all sorts of food to satisfy any choice. The overall standard is fully equal to 3*** or even a bit above. - Standard of room and reception area were excellent - appeared to be brand new (April 2008). Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel is 10 minutes walk to Playa de Major. 5 minutes walk from Puerto de Toledo Metro. Within short walking distance of Palace and Cathedral. Would definitely recommend this hotel in centre of Madrid.

  Very nice, modern hotel. The room was very spacious. Toilet was big: there's separate toilet and a nice shower. Next to it is a little cloakroom. All these partitioned next to the bedroom. Location of hotel is very convenient - It was a pleasant surprise to stay at an art showcase hotel: what an inspiration.   We had very comfortable room, quit - that was important, because we'd been with 1 year old baby. The staff prepared special little bad for baby. And value for money is on high level!
