Good selection at a reasonable price. Multilingual staff. First thing in Barcelona: Take one of the Double Decker buses around the city for an overview. Pass is good for the day. - This hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the harbour and Las Rambles. We upgraded to a superior room and it had a huge bed with enough space and also a balcony / patio, we also got spa access included for upgrading. The staff were very helpful and you can help yourself to coffees and pastries in the afternoon free of charge which is a nice little extra. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again as it was great.

  My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. The hotel itself is beautiful and kept up. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants.   We loved our stay at this Hotel Palace! Perfect, professional and very polite and helping staff. We had a wonderful room with a balcony and good view (standard). It was perfect, spotlessly clean, light, not noisy. They cleaned the room several times a day. We gave our passport copies, our credit cards and all info, but when we came back at 5 pm from sightseeing,our bags were still not brought to our rooms. We were 3 couples and were exhausted.
