CAn't beat the price either. - Friendly, and very helpful staff who all spoke English. Although no tea making facilities, staff found us a kettle and cups. Good door security.   The apartment was lovely. Nice little balconies overlooking a park. Plenty of space. We were very happy to have the kitchen facilities, and the price was the same as a regular hotel. The location was wonderful, just a couple of blocks north of the University.   This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The rooms at the front have balconies looking out onto the Ramblas Cataluyna. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and very close to the metro and buses to all the other attractions.   We spent 6 fantastic days at the B&C BCN, our room had private toilet (we loved the shower with hydromassage and radio!)and was spacious, nice in every single detail, clean and very well kept.   BcnStop is a centrally located decent compact accomodation probably less than 10 minutes walk down to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The neighbourhood is rather safe and pleasant. That said, one should never let their guard down wherever they are and however safe the area seems.
