  This hotel is a very special place. We stayed in the top floor with exclusive use of the terrace, which was extraordinary. The roof terrace is accessed with a remote-control that slides open a horizontal glass door/skylight, and you walk up the staircase in your room to get one of the best, unobstructed views of the city. Quiet as a mouse, even though totally central in the Old City - just moments from the Main Square. The rooms are modern, and better suited for intimate friends due to the glass doors on the toilet/shower etc. The cafe on the corner was like being at your Aunts and Uncles - super tapas, ham, cheese, great beer and a lovely outdoor seating area up the hilll for a good early evening game of cards!

The owners , Gemma and Michael... mitä ihmiset sanovat » are delightful - welcoming, efficient, always on hand to answer questions, provide maps or advice on where to visit, eat etc. The location is great - central, but easy to find, with parking close by (yes expensive but Michael is right - Toledo is not made for cars, and knowing you are safely parked is worth it) The instructions - The room, though small, is decorated in very good taste and is quite comfortable, very clean and very well-located. The room is also charming, with a Spanish style balcony, and air-conditioned. The proprietor is a lovely, gracious man who makes it his business to make you feel at home. All the advice he gave us about what to see in Toledo, the deals available to tourists, the best restaurants--- was spot on. I was traveling with my teenage son, but would definitely return with my husband.
