  Great location around the corner from metro. Our room was not reay at 14.00, so they upgraded us to a fantastic suite. Friendly and helpful staff, really good breakfast. The last night was at the Silken Hotel and they gave us a upgraded room for the problems. Can't fault them! - Location to the Metro was nice and easy to find with a landmark (egg building) right next it. Room was very spacious, room for luggage too!   Very quiet room. Great value for money. Good design. A small suite with separate bedroom for 100$ per day! Easy access to metro line 4 (Bogatell) or Line 1 (Marina). Not far from the beaches. Mar Bella is only two stops (Poblenou) and a 10 minute walk. Direct by metro to old Barcelona in only a few stops (Jaume I).   A modern hotel in a fairly quiet residential area on the outskirts of the city. 10 - 15 minute walk from the beach - we didn't see one tacky tourist shop in the area - but an exellent shopping mall with supermarket and restaurants only a 3 minute walk away. Staff were knowledgable and friendly. Bar area and evening meals of excellent quality (we didn't eat - The reception waited for us till 3 am because our flight was delayed and we were given a warm friendly welcome even at that early hour. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had really good curtains that blocked out light completely for us to sleep late into the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the decor was neutral, which we liked. Hot water, air conditioning and the television were perfect and we could even open the windows to get fresh air when needed.
