  Sijainti on erinomainen, lähelä metroa ja kävelymatkan (10-15 min) päässä keskustasta. Hotelli oli siisti, rauhallinen ja huone oikein mukava. Meillä kävi hyvä tuuri: Saimme huoneen (5, krs) omalla terassilla! Hotellin oma kahvila oli todella hyvä ja kävimmekin siellä syömässä aamupalaa (Leipä, kahvia ja tuoremehua 3,50€). Also, the subway station is just nearby, i.e. within 3 min. walk down the same street. Very efficient heating system. Excellent receptionist's, room and breakfast service. Rich buffet breakfast with all sorts of food to satisfy any choice. The overall standard is fully equal to 3*** or even a bit above. - Standard of room and reception area were excellent - appeared to be brand new (April 2008). Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel is 10 minutes walk to Playa de Major. 5 minutes walk from Puerto de Toledo Metro. Within short walking distance of Palace and Cathedral. Would definitely recommend this hotel in centre of Madrid.

  Really nice hotel. Location is exactly what is mentioned in all other reviews. The girls from reception - Maria and Elena -were very hospitable and friendly and both deserve a certain salary increase. Rooms are not much specious but always clean and tidy. The hotel itself is renewed build recently and you can see it at once.   We stayed here just one night here after our flight arrived in Madrid and we needed a hostel that was affordable and within walking distance to the train station for our early departure the next morning. It's not a fancy building on an attractive boulevard, but it's within a short walking distance to the train station, which is all - It's an hostal, not an hotel. Said that, everithing was really good: WiFi decent, clean room (they clean it every day) and the staff is very helpful. Position is very good: really close to atocha, to the retiro gardens, the Prado, the modern art museum.. And close to city centre as well. In case in the district there are too different bars/pubs..

  I stayed with 2 friends in the flat for a long weekend. It is excellent value for money compared to a hotel. The flat is very well equipped and very cool and modern.The location is just about perfect and also very close to the tube. There is a cheap supermarket nearby.   The hotel was what I would consider a 5 star. The decor were very modern, very comfortable, immaculate. The shower was spacious and had three different shower heads. A nice touch for the weary traveler.
