  The room was very nice and beautiful, nicely decorated, probably recently renovated. The lady who owned the establishment was very nice talkative and willing to help. The room was very clean and above of that there was cleaning service everyday. Hostal Luz is situated in the center of Madrid, 5 minute walk to the shopping avenue and Plaza Mayor.   The personal it´s very kind and friendly, and they were always very helpful, specially the owner of the hotel. He always very willing to help and advise me to move more easily around the city.   The location was excellent and the hostal was really easy to find. We arrived before the check-in time and were given access to our rooms which was great. Our room was clean and we had a view which looked out on to Gran Vie. Staff were friendly and helpful.
