The room was small (perfect for a young couple) but everything seemed new and very clean. We had a small balcony off our room which was lovely and let lots of sunlight in. I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering. Convenient underground parking garages close by. -

The location was the best I ever had in Bcn. At least half of points of interest is reachable by feet. Just 200 m or less to the station of A1 and A2 buses to airport. Our stay at Hostel Goya and as such in Barcelona was wonderful experience. Hostel staffs were helpful, warm and welcoming. When we arrived at the hostel Ms.Path explained in details where to go, what to see and what to eat. We followed her recommendations and our Barcelona vacation was a memorable experience that we would cherish this life time. The premise and the room were kept spick and span condition. Second, since it seems to be renovated recently, the facilities are quite new. Moreover, my room is comfortable and quiet in the night. The shared bathroom is also clean. Finally, the staff are friendly, and the most attractive feature for me is the free wireless internet access.

The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. The room was large with a very high ceiling and nicely appointed and the bathroom good and brightly tiled. Our room had large old doors that opened to a balcony on the street....very nice. The staff were exceptionally helpful with suggestions about sightseeing and restaurants , and helped greatly in receiving/printing and sending some unexpected business e-mails for me. Brea

Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. -
I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.

We are received with warm welcome to this charming hostel with excellent staffs. Everywhere was really clean and well-organized. Staffs are always for us to help. In our room, we had even patio which enjoyed a lot sitting out. We expected more of the noise from the streets, but it was really quiet. Kitchen facility was also very nice and clean when we cooked one evening and prepared extra things during breakfast as well. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will definitely come back!!!

I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and

That place so close to Casa Batillo, my room was so small, but
comfortable and clean. Service was super polite, speak many languages, I
can speak with them english, spanish and even russian. Big thanks to a
girl in reception Katya. Super polite, super kind, told me where to go,
what to visit at that time and really is so so nice person. I can
imagine who is the boss of hotel if they have such a wonderful staff!

Great place. Alfonso was the lovliest man, & a good looker in his day as was his sister. They were lovely. Beautiful old building, very chicly decorated. Loved it. They didn't have our booking recorded but it was no problem for Alfonso. -
You feel that you are actually living in Barcelona, it is a nice flat.
