Disagree with someone's comment about the breakfast - there was ample choice and lots of it. We booked to stay in a studio which we thought was to good to be true at the advertised price, at check in we received an upgrade to a one bedroom apartment at no extra cost.   Pension Alameda is family owned. The whole family is very willing to help. Some have limited English. The room is clean. As other have commented it is a bit noisy. But then you are based at the square which is full of life in the weekends. It didn't disturb me, but I imagine it might be a but noisier in the high season. Good value for money.   Staff very friendly and helpful, very well priced, clean, neat, breakfast provided. Nice location a little bit out if the tourist zone, easy wall or bike ride to the centre. Also very close to main bus station - Friendly staff (and really ready to help), very nice communitary areas, excelent value, one of the best hostels I've been so far!
