  This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. My friends and I got a really home away from home feeling. The apartments we booked were totally 5 star quality: clean, well-designed and quiet.   The apartment-sharing style feeling rather than being in a soul-less hotel. Pablo was extremely welcoming and devoted to provide a great stay: breakfast was served for my early rising, he gave me tips on great tapas place, etc. Really a great host. It's on the 5th floor so it's quite nice. The location is perfect on a residential street with bakeries and groceries - It's very nice appartment, almost in the center of the city, 10 minutes walking from Plaza de Espana and 15 minutes - from Plaza de Catalunya. Location is great. And Paulo, the host, was very nice and helpful. Room was quite comfortable and clean. But there are 5 rooms and you have to keep quiet to not disturb your neighbors . Minimal breakfast is included .

  The apartment was lovely. Nice little balconies overlooking a park. Plenty of space. We were very happy to have the kitchen facilities, and the price was the same as a regular hotel. The location was wonderful, just a couple of blocks north of the University.   Rooms are built within an appartement building giving you the feeling of having your own city loft. We had room 4 with a spacious patio overlooking the university building. Beautiful combination of old tile floors with authentic design. The hostel is very centrally located at the placa de la universidad and placa de Catalunya is at walking distance. The area surroundin - Very warm welcome from Carlos which continued throughout our stay-couldnt have been more helpful. Room was a small Eco only but perfect for our two night stay as not needing a room to spend time in other than as a base. Wonderful bed and best sleep I've had for ages in hotel room (travel a lot with work). Great large shower- rain effect and seperate hand held. Lovely touch of free tea and coffee available for guests and a light breakfast provided (not mentioned when booking). Fab location- two
