Rosie, the lady who welcomed us and served our breakfast was very sweet, friendly and helpful. She couldn't speak English but used a translate app on her tablet which worked excellently well.
Loved the outdoor decked area.

The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably

The hostal is really clean.
The location is perfect. In front of the metro station, but staying at Hostal Q you dont need to use the metro, because the hostal is really near of everything you will visit.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
The room was really confortable and clean.
The hostal looks to be very new, wich is good.
The shower is perfect. For sure the best shower I used in Europe!!
They have elevator, computers and small kitchen that makes your life easier. I really recomend

The staff members went beyond the call of duty on more than one occasion to accommodate us and make our stay as pleasant as possible. Facilities are basic however for the money you would be hard pushed to find somewhere as good as this place. The Hostal is run by extreamly polite Indian gents and is in a perfect location for a city visit (only yards from the Ramblas). I saw reviews criticizing the wi-fi but I had a strong connection all holiday. We stayed in a double en-suite room and although basic, it was immaculatly clean, with beds made up each day and clean towels every 2 days. The bed was extreamly comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water in the shower. Great place to stay if you want a cheap holiday. ps. felt ver

Fabulous ever changing show to watch from the room, not noisy during normal sleeping hours. In the heart of the old city, yet tucked away. We walked everywhere. Helpful, friendly, efficient staff. The location is superb, just off La Ramblas. The hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean. We were at the front of the hotel, so we had a small balcony overlooking the street. There is a lift, essential for people like me who have difficulty with stairs.

Hotel Condal is located in the heart of the La Rambla. It is so convenient to walk 30m and then to enter the La Rambla. The many restaurants, shops and attractions in close proximity of the hotel is a bonus. The reception of the hotel is very helpful, knowledgeable,efficient and available 24hr. I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Central location is perfect for walking all over town. It is right by
Placa Catalyna where the buses from the airport arrive and metro station
as well as trains out of Barca. Our second stay we were given room 202
which is a double with on-suite bath and a balcony onto main street.
People watching was great fun. Lots of flags hanging from balcony.

Abraham day staff was so lovely, very jolly and helpful. It is a bit
dilapidated but I didn't mind that. If you want uber posh it's
not for you. -
The staff was generally friendly/helpful. The Day staff are more
english helpful/friendly, the night staff generally doesn't know
anything other than Spanish & a lot stricter, but was the same at
all my friends hostels anyways. Good price & great location. Was
very quiet as needed too.

Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10
M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I
wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room
is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as
long as you are in the middle of the action. The receptionists are
cool, kind and fun.

Location is fantastic - just on Ramblas, very close to the metro station (Drassanes) . Gothic quarter just around the corner, and so also Palacio Guell. Cathedral 10 minutes walk from the Hotel.
Staff was very helpful.
The room was quite spacious and reasonably clean.
Breakfast reasonably good.
Overall, I think that we got our money worth.
