We wanted to see the real Spain and Apartamentos Rurales in Cartes was just that. Very friendly team running the apartments and the small town gave a real sense of life and culture in Spain. Delightful main street with old buildings and a few 'locals' bars within a few hundred metres offering tapas. It is very convenient just off a highway with a large Carrefour supermarket only 5 mins drive away.
