This is a 3 star hotel with a 5 star setting. Yes the rooms are basic and in need of a refurb but that is reflected in the bargain price and with views like this you won't be spending much time in doors. If you like a hot drink in your room though you will need to bring your own kettle.

I was impressed by the organisation of the team of cleaners who were friendly & worked hard cleaning just about everything from sand on beach to showers & chairs & railings & fences as well as rooms & obvious areas.
The staff on the reception were always friendly & helpful.
But most of all the Team of young entertainers . Dave & his team were amazing - always friendly to parents but fantastic with the children . They were never too busy for anyone "kids or adults" .

I really liked the charming and quirky style of Fowlers, full of interesting antiques, and my stylish, and comfortable bedroom, with it's private terrace, with views of the yacht Marina. Pat and Colin Fowler are the most welcoming of hosts, and Pat was so kind, and informative about things to do, and places to visit, around Cala D'Or. We have stayed in Cala D'Or Playa from 20 to 27th June. The location, facilities, cleanliness, staff are absolutely brilliant. We had a half board basis, food was delicious, good selection for breakfast, evening meals were amazing - huge variety each night, everything always fresh and hot.
