The Madrugada has been beautifully renovated and the rooms, albeit small, are well presented and have nice bathrooms.   We only spent one night at Casa del Maco and wish we would have stayed longer! The hotel is up the hills, has a significant view, a nice pool and the atmosphere is absolutely friendly and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious. The room was of a high standard with an excellent bathroom with waterfall shower. The restaurant was expensive for the Costa Blanca but high quality and the food was delicious.
