The Madrugada has been beautifully renovated and the rooms, albeit small, are well presented and have nice bathrooms.   I liked everything about this Hotel - for a 1 star hotel it was excellent - the rooms were a good size, kept spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool and with views towards the sea. Breakfast was a continental buffet - good selection of bread, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, ham and cheese. There is a safe - We loved the continental breakfast always fresh and plenty of it. Also liked that it only had 8 rooms and that it was spotlessly clean.   The apartment had everything you could need. Complex just the right size for us with two children. A short enough wander to beach bar at night.   We only spent one night at Casa del Maco and wish we would have stayed longer! The hotel is up the hills, has a significant view, a nice pool and the atmosphere is absolutely friendly and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious.
