The facilities were excellent, the power shower was amazing, laptop with free internet and all the finishing touches to the decor etc really made the difference. The hotel is right in the middle of everything but you never hear any of the traffic because of the very good double glazing even though we were right on the road. The staff were also very helpful.

Location is superb - many attractions (Batillio and Pedera) are within walking distance tube station is a 1 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and tried to help (we in fact booked a Flamenco show from the front desk). One of the staff - Alex - stood apart and really tried to help as much as possible.staff very friendly and helpful. very child friendly hotel. breakfast included in price was great and good choice. Had an excellent time. they were great with my 2 year old son - making meals etc....absolutley briliant!! couldnt write enough good things about this hotel ! staff were brill! location was excelent !. The rooms are modern, clean and quiet. Actually better than the pictures on the website. Friendly staff!!. The interior decoration, free use of laptop w internet in your room. The shower.We loved the location as well as the modern feel of the hotel.the interior decoration made it different. Great place, great locale. No complaints.the location is the best.The staff, especially the receptionists. They are helpful and they speak English very well. They direct us where to go and visit by providing us maps and a guid book (The book has a short paragraph of each site to visit) Also, the location of the hotel is perfect. The hotel was very new and in a good location very close to th city center.Somethings they could improve - the water in the shower does not stay a consistent temperature this may have only been a problem in our room. They have GPS units for rent - something we did not learn about until our last day - if they would of told us upon check-in we may of availed ourselves of them.there was a lounge chair that was broken in the room, there was a problem with the hot water when i took a shower in the evening as it was lukewarm, however the technician did come by that night and the shower in the morning provided nice hot water. The tubs were so high, deep and dangerous to exit. Would recommend some type of bar to grab.The bedroom should have been cleaned earlier in the day- no tea and coffee making facilities. The double bed is only 150cm wide.Good breakfast included but lack of staff for service on weekends.Far too busy for one waitress.Therefore slow offer of coffee and tea.the terrace was dirty. reception staff were unfriendly, dodnt explain anything. a smile would help! hard to sleep with a flickering smoke detector alarm light above your head and the flickering laptop connection. the shower/bath taps very difficult to operate. cleanliness of the bathroom: some hair (not ours) and dirt appeared several times during the week, apparently from cleaning. Although their were facilities to have a drink, a lounge bar for early/late evening drinks was the one missing ingredient.no bikes available for our whole stay. Only ever one staff member at breakfast was insufficient.Tea making facilities in the room would have been welcome.15 Euro charge for breakfast was expensive - we did not utilize this service (60 Euro for a family of four!). The hotel was modern and very tastfully decorated. The location was excellent. I enjoyed my stay there and I would visit it again. The only negative fact I can think of is that the lobby bar did not operate during my entire stay. Room service was also unavailable on the first day of my stay. That seemed a bit strange for such a nice hotel...Front desk was rude, especially when I checked out late. There was also street construction going on outside and I was woken up by jackhammers.No english tv. Thin doors, easy to hear what was happening in the halls. Shower didn't have any shelves for shampoo or soap. Shower water was tepid - which according to the person in Reception is how they like it in Barcelona - even in winter it seems.The room was a bit small. no coffee/tea making facilities,no ashtray in smoking room.There water was only warm never hot and we had trouble with the Toilets,it came away from the wall in one instance , we were upgraded , however this toilet leaked , they fixed following day.As this is a relatively new hotel they seem to be still having a few teething problems.there are no outlet to charge your equipments, i.e. video camera, etc. (if you don't have an adoptor.Room was spacious and attractive but could have had a better standard of cleaning, a bit dusty. The room was smelly of smoke, there was no reasanable wardrobe, the sink in the bathroom was poor, the air conditioning was noisy.The reception area was not very wellcoming. Also the breakfast selection was poor and not worth 15€. The bathroom door was made of glass and didn't close properly so it was not very private. We had to request towels, as none were provided; there was no mirror in the room and the breakfast was expensive. When it rained the hotel was unable to provide umbrellas for loan so we had to buy one. It's a great looking place, but needs attention to the little things to qualify as 4 star.1, The termperature of the bath/ shower water was tepid. Much too cool ! 2, TV had only two English language channels ( MTV and CNN ! ). plus the TV had a electrical short and cut out 3, Some of the furnititure had "style over substance". For example, The bathroom sink was difficult to use , the bath was extremely difficult to ket in and out of safely ( and I am not that old ! ).Cleaning of room to be improved.There was no in-room facility for boiling water.size of the single, price.Because the hotel is new there was still plenty contruction going on which was very loud. The rooms are modern and new but at the same time i would have expected more from a 4 Star High Tech Hotel as many little things are not yet finished.
