  I would like to submit a review on behalf of my parents who recently stayed at the hotel ( 20/09 - 02/10). My parents raved about the staff- particularly the waiter in the restaurant. My Father is a very fussy eater ( and particularly hard to please were food is concerned) and he absolutely lovely the food!!! We would just like to take this opportunity to thank the hotel for all their help and kindness - it really did make for - Room 507 had fantastic views, hotel was lovely and clean and great location for beach and Marina. Breakfast was fantastic, great choice of cooked and continental with fresh fruit. In height of summer I could imagine there will be quite a bit of noise from surrounding bars, but you would expect that from a busy resort.

  Great location! The hotel is in the village, situated high above the more urban, beach community of Benalmádena. It's easily accessed from the highway, but driving up from the coast is little more challenging. The hotel staff, particularly Navita at reception, was amazing! They were so friendly and helpful! There is on- site, free, gated parking, but it's easier to check in first and get directions/instructions. WiFi even - Hotel La Fonda is situated just off Plaza Espana in Benalmadena Pueblo. Transport from Malaga Airport is easy by taking the Fuengirola train to Benalmadena and then the 121 Mijas bus to the Pueblo. The hotel is about 400 metres from the bus stop.   Only hotel in Mijas by the looks of it. Fantastic location and facilities were excellent. We were there at a quiet time of the year but there appeared to be plenty of space in the grounds. I'd probably only stay B+B as there are dozens of places to eat in Mijas. Definitely will go again. - the relaxing ambience of the hotel
