  Very comfortable hotel-good rate (best rate was on LetsBookHotel.com). Helpful, friendly staff, who spoke good english-a relief as our spanish/catalonian is v weak! Room was good size and we were well looked after. Didn't try out breakfast, but the restaurant's evening set menu was a good meal/value. A mini bar, safe and great choices of pillow (gr... mitä ihmiset sanovat » 8 4 my dodgy neck and ensured a good night's sleep!) - the staff were really helpful, when we asked for directions to a bar in the town, the receptionist looked up it's location on the internet, showed us on a map and rang us a taxi. he was very helpful, all the staff had excellent english also.

  The hotel is situated just across the river from the old town, and close to monuments, cultural facilities and shops. The hotel is very comfortable, the staff welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast superb. The free mini-bar was a godsend as we arrived very late in the evening. We had an excellent lunch in the Blanc restaurant - and regretted hav... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ing gone into the old town to eat the previous night - The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were waiting for a package to be delivered and the hotel staff couldn't do enough to make sure it arrived safely even offered to call the delivery company, without us even asking them for help. We were very impressed with them. The restaurant attached was very nice and really reasonably priced, we ate there both nights of our stay.

  All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, in particular Maja, who helped us when we needed to visit the local hospital. The room was lovely and the bed was huge! Everything we wanted to see in the old town was within walking distance. We had a very relaxing time walking around the narrow streets amongst the beautiful old build... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ings of Girona. There were plenty of different restaurants to eat in and we had some great food during our visit there. We really enjoyed our holiday - Everything! Location was unbeatable and contrary to many old town centres, the taxi could take us right to the door. The staff was helpful, all receptionists were like Concierges: they recommended sites, restaurants. The room had all the latest amenities and comforts but the bonus was beautiful decor in and out of room and wonderful smell everywhere. Will go back!
