  I chose it as it was close to the railway station. We were also able to walk to the seafront easily. The hotel was very good value with a good sized room and bathroom. It was also quiet. - very nice and clean hotel. In the middle of the city but did not hear any noise from cars or bars.

The hotel could not have been better placed, easy walking distance of the Basilica where all the "action" would be.   I was taking my driving test in Alicante and it was much quieter than where we stayed before, but I must point out to anyone who stays in the future the walls are quite thin.
