This small Victorian country house is located in the Agatha Mountains and forests, 13 km above Tzaneen. It features scenic views of Wolkberg Mountains, an outdoor pool and barbecue facilities. Sherwood's Country House has elegantly decorated rooms with flower patterns, traditional furniture and carpeted floors. Each of the spacious rooms has a satellite TV and opens onto the gardens. Guests can start their day with a breakfast buffet, before having a cup of tea in the gazebo. They can also enjoy good home cooking using fresh products from the farm, or relax with a refreshing drink in the bar. Kruger National Park is a 1-hour drive away. Modjadji Cycad Reserve and Debengeni Falls are only a 35-minute drive away. You can walk through the forest or choose from a variety of activities, including bird watching, biking and darts. Free bikes are available at the property.

The staff and the owners were very friendly and professional. I felt at home. The owners were quite warm and attentive. Although I struggled with directions, they were patient and very helpful. Reception and friendliness and the food. Scenery is wonderful. Its too quiet as we were the only guests there.
