I could not have picked a better hotel in which to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. Although I made my booking the night before our arrival, the staff at Asara went above and beyond to make our stay special, even having a delicious cake and champagne ready in our room much to my husband's delight (and I didn't even request this!). Breakfast the next morning was perfect and the setting in which we found ourselves helped us relax and enjoy our little escape to its fullest.

comfortable room, lovely courtyard for breakfasts, drinks or just to sit
and enjoy. Our room was spacious with small balcony overlooking the pool

medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a
blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get
there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on

The staff was exceptional and the place is absolutely stunning. Apart from the bathroom the rooms are cosy and comfortable (and well equipped). The atmosphere is relaxed which we enjoyed very much. As I was travelling alone, the fact that the room was so close to reception, was great.
The lodge is located superbly - close to town, but still with all the lovely views of the mountains (which was covered with snow the next morning)! -
