  Great place to stay! We were welcomed very friendly, the guesthouse is on a beautifull orange farm, everything well organised and clean. We had a very nice diner and breakfast. The staff aranged a great game drive for us in de Addo park with Crisscross Adventures which was one of the highlights of our trip.   The guest rooms have the wow factor - thatched high ceilings, loads of space, outside shower as well as an indoor one, lounge space. Evening meals fine. The lodge is perfectly placed -just 5 minutes drive from the south gate. If you're going to Addo this place is ideal and the hosts Isabelle and Christoff are most obliging - Isabelle and Christophe were the most brilliant hosts and ran the hotel in a lovely relaxed manner. The room was wonderful and the outdoor shower enchanting. It was a brilliant place to stay for the Addo Elephant Park just 10 minutes drive from the gates. I would definitely stay there again. The food was very good, the room clean and very comfortable.

  rooms were adequate, although a little tired. I discovered, during my stay, that superior rooms were available and would probably take that option on another visit. Staff and restaurant were excellent. Some nice places to visit. Dave and Dot say YES - The room very spacious,and the view was lovely..staff friendly...food enjoyable

  We stayed in one of the “Swiss Chalet” style rooms on the upper floor. The room was comfortable and clean, though a small fridge would have been welcome. The (outside) stairs to the room are quite steep, and can be slippery when wet. Care is required. We would visit again, but would try to book one on the more expensive colonial- styl - There is not a lot of choice of accomodation in Stormsriver but this place is rather lovely. Great accomodation if a little dark and dated looking in the bedroom and bathroom but a perfect "village" setting. The restaurant is good if not great and the breakfast was excellent. We thought it was good value for money and had a very pleasant stay.

  We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast. The manager phoned to find out what time we'd be checking in, and if there was anything special we'd like in the minibar. My wife wasn't feeling well, and he arranged a special vegetarian meal for us.The room was great, the service excellent and the food was delicious.
