Prior to arrival we feared to have booked a so-called "tourist trap", but all fears were blown away: Wow, what a fantastic experience to stay there! We got a sense of true African culture (history of different native tribes). Real nice cottages in tribal style, but with modern facilities (bath, electricity/TV etc.). Value for money; especially if you have great appetite for the overwhelming dinner (not included in base price) and amazing breakfast.
Absolutely recommendable!. kaikki arvostelut »
The site is wonderful, the country look gave me and reminded me of my school days in KZN and Eastern Cape, but for my children it was so magical as they have never been to rural. The rooms and bedding excellent, the Zulu king was the cherry on top, warm welcome with a beautiful smile on arrival and during breakfast made us feel comfortable and welcome. the resort near Haartebees made easy for the family to visit there.
Firstly Mpho Sibanda is a darling, she basically sold the place to me even long before i decided to finalise my booking. Lovely luxurious traditional experience. No issues/drama. Friendly staff all round and definitely coming back.
We loved the different villages and the natural environment. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The outside shower for our Nguni hut was great.
The room. The internal finshes very good and it's very clean. The staff is friendly and the South African theme is carried right through, really liked it.
nice and quiet, right inside the bush, very interesting. reminding me of the good olden days in the rural areas.
The friendly staff, the activities, the group tours on different cultures and the buffet were all amazing.
The tour to different villages..... d dances at d Boma.
Staff very helpful
Accomodation.
Really enjoyed everything.
The whole experience!.
cultural tours.
cultural dance was great!!.
Nothing.
Some of the staff members occasionally made noise at night closer to the Zulu village.
It was so hot, and after a lovely walk we were desperate to lounge at a pool. Alas, there isn't one. We strongly suggested it to the management.
dinner was not nice on Friday however we enjoyed breakfast so much.
Mhmmmm still tinking.
Buffet expensive.
That there is no pool. It was such a lovely day and i would really have liked to spend some time around a pool, swimming and also having some drinks. A rock pool would go with the surroundings.
no traditional food.
I thought the dinner was too expensive at R210PP. Not flexible for someone who is not hungry but want to have small dinner. Perhaps consider to serve traditional food as well to match the cultural dance.
Buffet dinner - expensive for what you get.
No internet connection although I had my own laptop and had intended to keep in touch with all my acquaintances and I find this very poor.
