  Hostel itself: traditional shophouse, but greatly renovated with modern style and comfort. Electronic access to the front door, rooms and lockers in the rooms (lockers are really huge, may easily accommodate suitcase or 75litres backpack in there!). Rooms clean though small. WiFi in your room for free. 24-hour breakfast you can just open the fridge and eat cereals, bread, biscuits and drink tea, coffee, milk. They also have microwave and if you still need to go around after checking in you can leave your bags for free. Computer with internet for free!

  The staff were outstanding. I dealt with 3 different people during my staff, all of whom did their utmost to create a friendly, welcoming environment. The service is better than five star hotels I've stayed at.   I stayed here 2 nights and paid 44s$ since I booked through letsbookhotel.com. I supposed to stay in 20 persons room with mixed sex, but the staff offered me to stay in a female room without extra charge.   Loved the central location. It was a 10 min walk from the Bugis MRT and closer to bus stops. Plenty of restaurants down Arab Street and adjoining streets and hence one has a good choice of reasonably priced meals. Many curious shops down Arab Street and adjoining Haji Lane to sate one's appetite. The people down the street were extremely friendly, w - hi all. I really just can recommend the shophouse and would always come back there if I will be in Singapore again. It is central in a nice district with a lot of restaurants and cafes. It has on every level free wifi, a awesome terrace, two Mac pcs and two windows (free) and a lot of lovely details.
