I higly reccomend the hostel Chicago. After our first hotel "HPT" was canceled one day before our arrival we booked Chicago. Cleanliness, warmth, good front of house staff, staff went extra mile, took bags to room, changed pillow, gave info on buses to shopping area, ordered taxis. I would most certainly stay here again, and recommend this accommodation. I liked the whole hostel design-guys have really put much effort into the wall paintings. I almost believed I stayed in the US and not in Russia because the whole atmosphere was really authentical. Staff was really friendly and easy-going and they always helped me to print out the maps when I needed to go somewhere.

I've never met such friendly people - it was like being welcomed into someone's family home. Close to metro, cooking facilities, safe with large lockers to leave all your bits in. If you're in Moscow, this is the place to stay!!!. The staff at Chicago absolutely rock it out 24/7! Very welcoming. The beds are pretty comfortable too and the rooms are clean. Location is awesome, close to Chistiye Ponds - shops and restaurants and major transport routes to the city. I'll be coming back for sure!!. The hostel itself it's great, with good location, nice facilities, clean bathroom and tasty free pancakes in the morning, but the best thing by far is the staff. I spent one week there and they made me feel like at home from the very first day. Recommended!. I was really pleased by the price-quality interrelation! In this hostel I found all that I need, and didn't spent much money. Friendly staff, modern design, the best location - all is here! And now visiting Moscow - only Chicago Hostel!. The atmosphere was so friendly! I received the full-length locker, but had to admit that they charge a deposit for that (i got it back on check-out). Beds are wide, rooms are clean and spacious. I would recommend it!. I really-really loved that lovely blondie kid, that arrives late at night and offers everyone to take part in his art-house homemade movie! Also I liked that weird astronaut on one of the halls walls! And wide beds. The staff is very friendly and can speak english fluently. There's free tea, coffee and breakfirst with cornflakes, bread and waffles. I like the design with the wall paintings. The atmosphere is really good. This hostel is something up to european standards, which I really liked. English speaking staff, easy-going, as if they are my friends from the neighbourhood. Clean and spacy bathrooms. And games :). The staff is very, very friendly and helpful. The kitchen and bathrooms are spacious. It is right next to a park and there are many cafes and restaurants around. Only 3 mins’ walk to the metro. It was just as required, very comfortable place to stay and location was near to the Metro station, staff were helpful whenever in need, and most importantly was the availability of wi-fi. A very cozy hostel with a super nice atmosphere. Staff was always helpful and friendly, and it's perfect for budget travelers. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would come here again. The coomon room is so comfortable and social. Friendly staff, talking professional. The owner was very helpful to buy tickets to Mongolia for me. I spent my time great there!. The admins spoke perfect english, were really friendly and fun - not to mention extremely helpful. The price is very reasonable for the facilities offered. Location is great, walking distance to the main city points. Inside feels like home, no mess in the showers. I Do highly recommend it to all travellers!. Guys would better put a table instead of it. the location of the socket outlet. perhaps they should have a variety of story books that we can borrow to read when we are waiting for someone or for time pass. It would be good to hang a big mirror in the common room or near the exit. The hostel is not ideally placed if you want to experience the nightlife of Moscow esp. late night clubbing/bars. I have no negative comments to make. Can't think of anything. It was hard to find the first time. But you just have to cross the arch and it's right there on the right hand side. Why can't they have bigger and clear signs on russian hostels?!. Breakfast. Unfortunately, I spent in this hostel only two days. Then I went home for the weekend. I was going to return to this hostel, but when I came to the I was told that there was no place! Despite the fact that I booked the bed. I was sent to another hostel - San Francisco for the same prise. But San Francisco hostel was much worse. Yes, it's near to subway but it's not easy to find. - One fridge is bad. No food can be placed in because of foods of other people - Little messy. Nowhere to hang clothes. I have to use locker to store my coat. It was so hot inside. - no slippers for guests. Absence of personal night-light, amount of connector female isn't enough. They told us there were some booking mistake, so we have been redirected to another Hostel - San Franscisco witch wasn t nice at all. I have heard about this method from some other customers earlier. Bad trick!!. Not clean, some staff members are not nice but some are helpfull...there is people who stay for living long-term and they dont like foreign people!The owner of hostel is a very angry person! even i paid drinks that i bought he wants that i should ask him before taking. If you have choice, dont stay there!.
