  There are a lot of positive moments: good location not far from center, but in quiet place; quiet (!) rooms; breakfast with porridge, curd fritters, pancakes, omlet, sausages, tosts... When it is rainy, you can borrow umbrella. My room was on 5th floor, and I had view on courtyard - it was not good, but also I saw dome of St. Isaac's Cathedral. Well I guess it is good hotel for couples and family vacation. - The staff were greatly flexible, from helping with my invitation letter to working with my later flights and checking out late. They also directed me to where I could purchase a SIM card for my phone as well as different things in the area. The reception staff speak English very well and were a pleasure to talk with.

  This is a very quiet hotel with a few rooms and a very friendly atmosphere. It is located at a walking distance of two metro station of the Nevskii Prospekt and there is a large variety of restaurants, souvenir shop and food ones in the neighborhood. We had superior room: spacious, with 2 windows looking to the Moika river. Very calm. Hot and cold water with tea@coffee on every floor. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  The hotel is perfectly located just behind the Ermitage Museum and a short walk from the main shopping street with many restaurants to choose from. The staff was tremendously helpful in recommending things to do. We loved the breakfast which was included in our roomrate. Recently renovated and renovated well. Rooms like Nevsky Palace but 1/3rd the price! The room was nice, clean, LCD TV with sat. Bathroom was new, had quality European toiletries in the bathroom, water in the shower was pure and clean. Excellent breakfast included.
